I cant believe how long it has been since I posted on here and for this im truly sorry. The truth is, like most, its been crazy for me. The pandemic has been truly surreal and thrown my life upside down.
With my other business closed and many mums at home, tearing their hair out, this was the perfect time to use this platform and reach out and try and support you. Unfortunatly im also that mum at home, tearing her hair out.
Dont get me wrong, its truly amazing to be able to spend more time with my children and reavalute whats important, however its very stressful this new "normal" that many of us are facing.
It has made me rethink Mums Alliance and how more than ever it needs to be a support network for mums that need it, so thats what I promise to make it. I would love for you to reach out and tell me what struggles you are facing and what would help make this easier for you. From talking to my mummy friends I feel one of the hurdles we fear is Mummy guilt and the fact we feel everyone is doing better than us and we are the only ones struggling. For this reason Ive decided to share more of the hard times as well as the good, we all need a bit more reality some times, rather than these rose tinted versions of our lives we like to share on social media.
So watch this space, lots of interesting articles, blogs and information coming! I really want Mums Alliance to support you and give you what you need to make you put yourself first, look after you and in turn everyone else then gets the best version of you. Today make that change and decide what you are doing for you. It doesnt have to be huge, just something. If your anything like me, the smallest thing feels like an undeserved treat, so change that mindset starting today.
