ABOUT MUMS ALLIANCE
WELCOME TO MUMS ALLIANCE
We are a community interest company established in 2019 to give back to mums for the great job they do and stop some of those many mummy guilt moments many have.
WE ARE ALL ABOUT THE GREATER GOOD
A COMMUNITY FOR MUMS
As an owner of a soft play cafe in north Yorkshire, I meet many mums of different ages from different backgrounds and circumstances, though all seem to suffer with the same mummy guilt. Some of these mums feel socially isolated, through not knowing other mums and been thrust into a new lifestyle and way of living.
REALISING YOUR WORTH
Most mums at some point feel guilty about spending money on themselves. We at mums alliance wanted to change this and this is how Mums Alliance was born. We want to help mums realise their worth and stop the mum guilt that comes with spending money on themselves. After all, “we can’t pour from an empty cup” and to give our children the best of us, we need to give the best to ourselves.
We decided to do this through working with great companies in the area to give discounts to Mums Alliance card holders, as well as creating a support network and collaboration of support and advice. When using the Mums Alliance card, mums don't only treat their children, but they can also treat themselves!
IT'S TIME TO GET SOCIAL
We also run mummy socials for mums to go out and meet other mums at local venues to extend their social network, again guilt free. This is a child free event. Mums only! After all, there are enough mummy and baby groups, this is a night time social just for you mums!
A GOOD OLD GIGGLE
Mums Alliance is a community interest project, meaning the money made will go back into the project to hopefully improve and expand upon so that more people in the area can benefit. You will find a parenting blog to provide mums with tips, insights and advice and a good old giggle.
We want to help reduce social isolation for parents and improve mental
health and wellbeing. We aim to achieve this by hosting ‘Mummy socials’ giving mums an opportunity to meet with other mums in the area to socialise, make new friends and have a sounding board of fellow mothers with whom to share and exchange tips, advice and support.
